Thank you for your interest in being a part of the Princeton Student Events Committee (PSEC). This is an excellent opportunity for you to be involved and develop your creative and organizational skills. We are excited about making this an enjoyable learning experience for you!
The Student Events Committee is a student organization under the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students. PSEC serves the University by providing cultural, educational and recreational programs which broaden the social experience at Princeton. As a member of PSEC, you will brainstorm programming ideas with other members, create strategies for implementing these ideas and help develop innovative ways to market them.
PSEC seeks to:
Provide a diverse set of social, cultural and educational activities
Foster productive collaboration between various University organizations
Develop a set of activities that offer a wide range of social options
Making a commitment to PSEC means:
Actively promoting community and upholding cooperative team spirit
Attending and actively participating in weekly meetings and brainstorming sessions
Attendance, management, and support of events, recruiting volunteers and ensuring that projects run smoothly
What Skills/Characteristics do I need?
Open mindedness and adaptability
Accessible, hospitable attitude
Proven ability to work on a team
Good organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to have fun
You must be able to participate in weekly PSEC meetings on Wednesdays, 5pm, in Frist Campus Center in addition to a Spring Training, date and time to be determined.
